9X13 baking dish, prepared

1½ cups of flour

¾ cup melted butter

¼ cup chopped pecans

8 ounce cream cheese, softened

1 cup confectionary sugar

1 cup Cool Whip, plus additional to spread on top for final layer

6 ounce instant chocolate pudding

3 cups of milk

Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips to decorate top

chocolate shavings for top (optional)

Pre-heat oven to 350º

Mix together flour, butter and pecans

Place in bottom of dish, patting it out to cover bottom of dish. Bake for 25 minutes, then cool.

Beat until creamy, cream cheese, confectionary sugar and 1 cup of Cool Whip. Spread over crust.

Beat until think, chocolate pudding and milk, then add as the next layer

Top with a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips.
