Ingredients:  
6 - 8 tart apples
2 tsp. butter
c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Crisp topping:
2 - 2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
c. sugar
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut up apples and put in buttered baking dish.
2. Cover apples with melted butter.
3. Sprinkle apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

Crisp topping:
1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and egg.
2. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over top of apples.
3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
