Mom's Banana Bread Recipe

1¾ c. flour
⅔ c. sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
pinch salt
½ c. Crisco or butter
3 large extremely ripened bananas (the browner the peel is the sweeter the bread will be)
2 eggs

*add chopped nuts of choice, if desired*

preheat oven at 350*
Mix flour and next 5 ingredients. Set aside.
Beat banana and eggs together til smooth. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Place in greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
