½ pd. beef boiled in 6 to 7 C of water
3 stalks celery, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
7-8 bouillon cubes
⅓ C barley
1 can diced tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Boil beef til tender. Remove from water to cool and cut in small pieces. Return beef to water adding celery, carrots, onion, and bouillon. Boil 30 minutes. Add barley and tomatoes, cooking an additional 10 minutes to soften barley. Enjoy!

*any cut of beef works for this soup, even tough beef*
