2 sticks of butter softened
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese
2 tsp, vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

for the glaze:
4-5 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, ricotta, and vanilla and mix until well blended. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the ricotta mixture. Mix well. Roll or scoop the dough into teaspoon sized balls. Place on an uncreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool for 3 minutes before wire rack to cool completely. In medium bow beat the mild, powdered sugar and almond until smooth. Dip the tops of the cookies into the glaze and set upright. Top with sprinkles.
