Paella Casserole Recipe

3 cup cooked chicken (chopped)
1 tsp oregano
cup chopped onion
1 chopped clove garlic
4 tbsp butter
2 cups uncooked rice
tsp saffron
4 cups chicken broth
1 lb shrimp, cooked, shelled, and deveined
12 Italian sausages (which have been cooked)

Preheat oven to 350
Brown onions in 1 tbsp butter - add chopped garlic and set aside - melt in a pan 3 tbsp butter - add 2 cups uncooked rice and saffron - stir over low heat 5 min - add 4 cups chicken broth and bring to the boiling point - cover and cook slowly 17 min - stir in the onions, garlic, oregano, chicken and sausages - place in a large casserole dish and bake until thoroughly heated
