1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
splash of vanilla
equal parts cinnamon and sugar, mixed in a bowl

Directions:
Directions:
1. Crean together butter and sugar until light and airy.
2. Add eggs one at a time and blend until mixture lightens several degrees in color.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add vanilla and the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
5. Let the mixture chill for thirty minutes. This helps with shaping.
6. Shape dough into 1" balls and coat in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
7. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
