Fajita Pizza Recipe

1-2 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
Mix of sliced bell peppers
Sliced yellow onion
Sliced chicken or steak
Fajita or Taco Seasoning
1 pre-made pizza crust
Refried Beans
Cheddar Cheese
Sour cream (if desired)
Gaucamole (if desired)

1. Heat oil in a skillet over med-high heat. Add onions, peppers and 1/2 of fajita/taco seasoning. Cover and cook until onion and peppers start to become soft (about 5-7 min)
2. Add chicken/steak and remaining seasoning. Cover again and cook until no longer pink (another 5-7 min)
3. Spread thin layer of refried beans over pizza crust, then spread salsa over beans (to taste, some like more, some like less)
4. Top with fajita mix and cheddar cheese
5. Bake according to pizza crust package directions (usually 425-450 degree oven x 7-10 min)
6. Top/dip in sour cream and guacamole if desired
7. Devour!!

Another well loved recipe from my mom! She always tried to be creative about veggies, and we loved fajitas in our house, but we also loved pizza - so she combined the 2! If you like tacos/fajitas then you will love this pizza!
