1½ stick butter or margarine
1½ cups self-rising flour
1½ cups sugar
2¼ tsp. baking powder
1⅛ cups milk
1½ - 2½ cups peeled fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fruit. Sprinkle with sugar and stir. Place butter in 9 x 12 dish in oven to melt. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour on melted butter. Do not stir. Pour fruit on top. Do not stir. Cook at 325º for 45-60 minutes until golden brown on top and pulls away somewhat from dish.
