1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup vinegar
2 1/2 cups cooked beets
1 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:


Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Add water and vinegar. Stir well.
Boil for 5 minutes. Drain beets and add to above mixture. Simmer slowly. Add butter, salt and pepper.
