Hermie's Rocky Mountain Mudslide Recipe

1 1/2 stick margarine,softened
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 pkg (12 oz) cream cheese
3 1/2 cups cold milk
1 1/2 cups Cool Whip
2 4 oz pkg chocolate instant pudding
2 1/4 cups confectioner's sugar
Extra Cool Whip for top layer

First layer:
Mix flour, margarine and nuts well. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. (use buttered
spoon or wax paper to press in pan) Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Let cool completely.

Second layer:
Combine softened cream cheese with 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip and confectioner's
sugar, using mixer on low speed. Spread on first layer.

Third layer:
Mix pudding with cold milk until thick. Spread on second layer.

Fourth layer:
Spread remaining Cool Whip on pudding. Sprinkle with extra chopped nuts.
