2 cups elbow noodles
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cup milk
8 oz. shredded extra sharp cheese
garlic
pepper
1/4 to 1/3 cup flour
5 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook 2 cups elbow noodles for 8 minutes. In sauce pan melt butter and add garlic and black pepper. Then stir in flour to make a roux. The more flour the thicker the cheese sauce, so make according to your consistency. Add 1 1/2 cups milk, stirring constantly until thickens. Add more milk if needed. Add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted. Put cooked noodles in a casserole dish and pour cheese sauce over until well blended. You can add cubed ham and steamed broccoli if desire. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min. Also can top with flavored bread crumbs.
