Banana Nut Bread Recipe

3 lg. or 4 small bananas
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp.salt
1 C, sugar
1 egg
1 C. flour
1 stick of melted butter
1/2 C. broken nuts

mash bananas and stir
Add soda, salt and sugar,
mix well
add egg and stir
add flour and mix well
stir in butter and nuts
butter square pyrex dish and pour in batter
Double all ingredients for lg.buttered rectangular pyrex dish.
bake 40 to 45 min. in 350 oven. Check center with toothpick for doneness. Should pull out clean.
