10 medium cucumbers


8 cups sugar
2 tbsp mixed pickling spices
5 tbsp coarse salt
4 cups cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:


Cover cucumbers with boiling water. Let stand until next morning. Drain and repeat this
procedure the next 2 mornings. On the 4th day, drain and dice.

Combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling point and pour over cucumbers. Let
stand 2 days. On the 3rd day, bring to boil and put in clean, hot pint cans and seal. Yields 7 pints.
