Chicken breasts
Water/salt
Onions

Raw Onions for spread
Miracle Whip
Pickle relish
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken breasts in salted water with onions until cooked through; drain and let cool, discard cooked onions.
Grind cooked chicken and fresh onions in a meat grinder.
Add Miracle Whip (enough to make the consistency of a spread), and 1-2 Tablespoons of pickle relish, stir until blended.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Use spread on fresh bread or crackers.

One of my favorites was Grandma's chicken salad!

Stephanie Walek:
Another of my favorite things Grandma made was her chicken spread. I remember watching her grind the chicken through her (what looked like) old fashioned grinder. The spread was so delicious on fresh baked bread.
