1/2 cup brown sugar
2 quarts cider or apple juice
1 teaspoon allspice, whole
2 pieces stick cinnamon
Orange slices
cheesecloth

Tie whole spices in cheesecloth, and add all other ingredients to crock-pot. Cover and set on "low" for 2-8 hours. Serve hot!

Hot Spiced wine: use above recipe, substitute two fifths of sweet sherry, claret or port wine for cider.
