1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts (drained)
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped green pepper
16 oz. can french-style green beans (drained)
16 oz. can white shoepeg corn (drained)
1 can cream of celery soup
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
French fried onion rings (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients (except for onion rings) and place in a 2-qt baking dish. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Top with onion rings when done.

This was a favorite at Thanksgiving for many years. Lisa prefers to use cream of potato soup.
