1 Big block sharp cheddar cheese
1 jar pimentos
1 chopped green pepper
1 onion
Rye bread ( beefg stake works the best)


Directions:
Directions:
Using an old fashion hand grinder. cut cheese in chunks add a little cheese , a little pimento and a little pepper and a little onion at a time. Repeat each ingredient until all ground. Put in bowl add Hellman’s mayo mix well and spread on rye bread. cut in qtrs. Serve or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate till ready to serve

*Use an old fashion hand mixer makes the consistency just right. I tried a regular electric mixer and it did not work as well but can be done
Do not put to many green pepper or to many onins just add a few each grinding

Got this recipe from my Mom ( Susy Smidt) THEY are the best ! Another tip Try using beef steak rye bread works the best ( stays moist)
