Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 can Cream of Tomato Soup (I prefer Campbell’s)
1 soup can Milk
2 soup cans homemade Green Split Pea Soup
2 or 3 Hot Dogs, cut into 2-inch pieces, browned in a frying pan, or ham cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Dilute Tomato Soup with one can of milk over medium heat, stirring. Add 2 soup cans of Split Pea Soup, stirring. When well mixed, taste. Add more Split Pea Soup or more Milk to suit your taste. Add some cut up browned hot dogs, if desired. Otherwise, add ham cubes or croutons, or both. Tasty and somewhat different.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mother often made this soup a few days after the Split Pea Soup. It was different and so easy to prepare. We often had hot dogs, cut up and browned, added to the soup. Or we had it with ham cubes. If you prefer, you can have more ham cubes or even have it plain.
