1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup pecan or walnut meats
1/2 coconut with 2 Tablespoons flour folded in
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with sugar and add flour; mix well. Press into 8 x 8" greased pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat eggs until frothy and gradually add 1 cup brown sugar. Beat until thick. Add nuts, coconut, vanilla and salt. Spread mixture on hot crust and bake 20 minutes more at 350º. When bars are cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
