2 cups chopped apples
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil (more or less)
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
sugar & cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:

Mix apples and 1 cup sugar. Let stand for about 10 minutes until juice forms.
Add oil, egg, then rest of ingredients. Stir. Mixture will be thick.
Turn into greased loaf pan and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. (60 minutes for gas stove)
