Apricot Bars Recipe

1 cup butter
2 egg yolks (yolks only)
1 jar (8 or 10 oz) apricot filling
1 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups flour

Cream butter, gradually adding sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks; blend well.
Gradually add flour, mixing well. Fold in nuts.
Put half of batter into greased 8 inch pan. Spread apricot filling over this. Cover with remaining batter.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Cool. Cut into 1 inch squares.

***May be sprinkled with confectioner's sugar.
***May use any other kind of filling.
