Directions:Use food processor to crush cookies into fine crumbs. Add all but 2 tablespoons of the cookie mixture into a mixing bowl with softened cream cheese and stir until evenly combined.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a small cookie scoop, form each portion into a small ball and place on the pan. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Follow the instructions on the chocolate wafers for melting. I usually use about half the package and melt them in a bowl in the microwave.
Take the hardened cookie balls from the freezer and dip them into the chocolate individually. I have found the best way to do this is with a toothpick. Use the leftover cookie crumbs to sprinkle on the top of the each cookie ball to cover up the toothpick hole. The chocolate quickly hardens so you must sprinkle the crumbs immediately after dipping each ball. |
