Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of olive oil 40 grams of butter 4 full tablespoons of flour ⅕ cold milk Salt Bread crumbs 2 eggs Frying pan Wooden cooking spoon The desired filling (About a pound of chopped or ground meat that is cooked or left over from a previous meal, 2 boiled eggs, or vegetables)

Directions:Add 2 table spoons of olive oil and 40 grams of butter Set medium flame and let melt Add flour Mix Slowly add milk and some salt Stir to dissolve flour completely Don't allow chunks Raise flame if needed Keep stirring to avoid it burning When mixture boils and feels dense/thick (bechamel) add filling Keep stirring Take out once mixture feels dense enough by pouring on deep plate Let cool down Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours PART TWO Beat a pair of eggs and place them in a deep plate/mixing bowl. Add more if needed Cover a plate in breadcrumbs and add as needed later Cover frying pan in a thick layer of oil in order to cover about half of a croqueta Bread oblong balls of the bechamel Cover in egg the in bread Fry the Croquetas on both sides until golden brown |
