Ingredients:
Pork Chops Lightly Fried
1 Cup Uncooked Rice
2 Cans Beef Gravy (about 11 ounces each)
1/2 Cup Water
Dash Black Pepper

There's a couple of ways you can do this. You can fry the pork chops just as they are til lightly browned or you can bread them before frying by dipping in egg and then breadcrumbs. You can also use boneless chicken breast as a substitute for the pork. This is my favorite and I definitely bread them and pound them down so they are an even thickness. Which ever you use it must be partially cooked before you put it on the rice.

In a large baking dish combine the rice, gravy, water and dash of black pepper. Stir everything around so water and gravy are well blended. If using pork chops place them on top of the rice mixture and bake at 350 in a covered pan for 1 hour.

If using chicken that has been pounded down cook the rice, covered, for thirty minutes then add the chicken and continue cooking, covered, for the remaining thirty minutes. Chicken doesn't need as long to cook.

If you're cooking this dish for a crowd and want more rice these are the proportions...1/2 cup of rice to 1 can gravy to 1/4 cup water
