2 egg whites
¼ tsp cream of tartar
½ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla
6 oz pkg semisweet chocolate bits
3 ½ oz can of flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Beat egg whites - then add cream of tartar and sugar gradually while still beating egg whites – add salt to mixture and continue beating until they form stiff peaks then add vanilla – melt the chocolate bits in a double boiler- fold in melted chocolate and coconut – drop onto brown paper on a cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes
