3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk, scalded
1 package yeast
cup lukewarm water
1 egg, beaten
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk( heat milk until a skin forms on top). Then add butter, salt and sugar to milk, and let cool. Add yeast to cup lukewarm water. Then add yeast and egg to remaining ingredients. Blend in flour and knead, let rise till doubled. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into circles. Let rise until doubled, then sprinkle with cornmeal and cook on hot griddle. Turning once.
