2/3 cup Red Hots Cinnamon Hearts
2 1/3 cups flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or cinnamon extract
4-6 tablespoons 2% milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place cinnamon candies in a food processor or blender. Process until fine and powdery. Add flour; pulse to combine.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Gradually beat flour into creamed mixture.
Shape dough into two 8 inch rolls; wrap each in plastic wrap. Refrigerate dough until firm at least an hour.
Preheat oven to 350º. Unwrap dough and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 7-9 or until edges are just light brown. Cool on pans 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
For frosting, in a small bowl beat confectioner's sugar, butter, extract and enough milk to reach desired consistency.
Decorate cookies as desired.
