Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place one pie crust into the bottom of a pie dish, letting a bit hang over the side. Save the other pie crust for the top.

In a bowl, combine:

1 large jar of Whitehouse Chunky Applesauce (can use 6 of the 4 oz cups as well)

3/4 cup flour
1 1/2-2 tbsp of cinnamon (to taste) *can add 1tsp of nutmeg
2 golden delicious apples, peeled and diced
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place mixture in pie shell. Brush top of pie shell with water (helps to seal the crust). Place top pie crust over and crimp the edges.

Cut slits in the top of the pie crust and sprinkle with sugar.

Place a tin foil ring around the edges only. Bake 30-40 minutes.
