3 cups apple cider
3/4 cup Calvados or other apple brandy
1/4 tsp Angostura bitters
1 (25.4 ounce - or thereabouts) bottle sparkling apple juice

8 slices unpeeled apple (optional)
8 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks (optional)

Combine first 4 ingredients in a pitcher. Serve over ice. Garnish glasses with apple slices and cinnamon sticks if desired.

This is a real nice fall/holiday drink. We first served Stone Fences at Christmas, 2008. I remember making several batches and everyone was quite happy by the time we had dinner.
