1¼ c sugar
½ c vinegar
1 c beet juice
10 cloves for each jar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beets and boil until tender enough to easily peel off skin. Make brine with sugar, vinegar, beet juice and cloves. Cut up beets and add to brine. Boil 3 to 5 minutes. Place in hot jars and seal.
