3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
⅓ cup cocoa powder
¾ cup canola oil
2 Tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups cold water

Cream Cheese Filling:

8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg
6 ounces chocolate chips

Heat oven to 325º

By hand mix flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cocoa. Add wet ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.

Mix filling ingredients and drop by teaspoons evenly over cake. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until tester placed in cake comes out clean.

Frosting:

6 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp milk
1⅛ cup sugar

Boil for 30 seconds and add ½ cup chocolate chips. Stir until melted and cooled. Frost cake.
