Ingredients:  
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup flour
1 cup raisins or apples
1 tbsp shortening
1/2 cup milk

Sauce
3 cups boiling water
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
1.Mix batter ingredients together well and place in a baking dish
2.Pour sauce ingredients over the batter
3.Bake at 375 for approx 1/2 hour
