Ingredients:
Ingredients:
14 ounces caramels, about 45
⅓ cup evaporated milk
2 ¼ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup chopped nuts
4 to 6 toffee bars, broken into irregular pieces (there should be some large as well as smaller pieces)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Make a parchment or foil sling for 9 by 13-inch pan.

In a double boiler, melt caramels and evaporated milk over low heat until melted and mixed.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Press half of cookie dough into pan and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove pan from oven, and sprinkle on chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and nuts. Distribute toffee bars over the surface. Drizzle caramel mixture on top. Top with remaining dough by forming mini pancakes. It may not cover completely. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Use the sling to remove from pan. Cool completely and then cut into bars.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can add in white chocolate, butterscotch, or other kinds of chips as long as you keep the total to 2 cups.
