1 cup softened butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
3 cups oatmeal, uncooked
1 cup raisins or more

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Beat together shortening and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add combined flour, soda, cinnamon and salt; beat well. Stir in oats and raisins. Mix well.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
