3 cups sugar
cup white Karo syrup
cup cold water
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend sugar, Karo syrup, and water in a sauce pan heat over very low heat stirring until no crystals show on
spoon turn heat to high and cook until candy thermometer reaches 254
2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks slowly pour hot sugar mixture over egg whites and beat
until the candy loses its gloss, then stir in chopped nuts then drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper
