Prune Kuchen Recipe

4 Cups of Flour
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup Oleo (Margarine)
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Work it all together similiar to a pie crust.

Add 4 egg yolks and 1 Cup of sour cream together. After beating them, add to dry ingredients.

Pat all the dough onto a cookie sheet.

Put prune halves on top

Bake at 350 º for 15 minutes.

Mix 2 Tablespoons sour cream and 1 Egg. Pour over mixture.

Mix 2 Tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of sour cream mixture.

Bake until custard is done and knife comes out clean

Edges will be light brown in color.
