"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

1 lb. ground beef
5 - 6 slices bacon, diced
to cup chopped onion
1 (12 oz. to 16 oz.) can greed beans, drained
1 (12 oz. to 16 oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained
1 (12 to 16) oz. kidney beans, rinsed and drained
cup chopped celery
cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. catsup
salt salt
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Fry bacon until brown, remove from pan and drain on paper towel. Brown ground beef and drain off excess fat. Mix bacon and ground beef with remaining ingredients in greased 3 quart casserole. Bake uncovered for about 55 minutes in 325 oven. I made this the night before serving, and I added a little more brown sugar and ketchup the next morning before baking.
