1 1/2 c. Sugar Prune Whip Frosting
3 tbsp. melted butter 1 envelope whit Duncan
2 eggs 1 3/4 oz. envelope lemon instant putting
2 c. sifted cake flour 1 c. cold milk
1/2 c. Coco 1/2 c. prune juice
1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. cooked prunes
1 tsp. grounded cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. mashed prunes

Powered coco greased 2 8" layer cake pans. Line bottom with waxed paper. Mix sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at at item beating well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to cream mix sir in prunes. 350º 35-40 min-cool on rack 10 min- Remove and finish cooling
Frosting:
combine whipped topping, pudding mix and milk and juice in bowl. beat 4-6 min. Fold in prunes
