1/2 c. Shortening
2 Sticks margarine
2 3/4 c. sugar
6 large eggs
3 c. sifted all purpose Flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. crushed pineapple undrained

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each additions. Add sifted flour with baking powder 1 tbsp at a time alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Stir in crushed pineapple. blend. Pour into well greased 10" tube pan. Place in a cold oven and turn on heat to 325º and bake 1 1 /2 hours. Let stand 5 min. Run knife around edge and remove to cool on rack. Glaze
Pineapple glaze
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 .c xxx sugar
1 c. well drained Pine apple
Combine and cover cake while warm
