3 cups cottage cheese
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cups milk or half & half
2 large eggs ( separated )
1 tea lemon rind
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 med bananas sliced
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Press the cottage cheese through a sieve and drain
In a sauce pan combine sugar, and gelatin together
Beat the milk and the egg yolks until blended
then stir into the gelatin mixture and simmer until the gelatin is dissolved then remove from the heat
add the cottage cheese to a large bowl beat until smooth ,add milk mixture
ADD the egg whites to a bowl and whip until they come to peaks. add to the milk mixture and add banana to the crust. ref, for 3 hours or until set when you want to serve place bananas round
