2 1/4 cups broken pieces of think stick pretzels
1 1/2 sticks butter

1 8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 small cool whip

1 pkg. strawberry jello (large)
2 20 oz pkg. frozen strawberries
1 large can crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine the pretzels and butter and cook at 350º in a 9 in. by 13 in pan for 10 minutes.

2) Blend the cream cheese unti creamy. Then add 1 small cool whip. Spread this mixture over the pretzel/butter mixture.

3)Drain the fruit and add enough water to make 2 cups. Heat to boiling and dissolve the jello in this fruit juice. Chill slightly; then add the fruit. Pour this on top of the above.

Refrigerate until set.

I couldn't find mother's original recipe but this is close. I thought she added pecans somewhere? Not sure. Yummy anyway and always brings back good memories of a holiday in Perryton, TX!
