"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
This dessert from Grandma’s old spiral-bound cookbook is a staple of every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Leftovers are rare.
(EDITOR'S NOTE: We never know exactly what to call it, and we don't know if it is a dessert or a salad, but the original recipe called it a "loaf." All we know, is it would not be a proper holiday dinner without it!)
