3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
4 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate (old style squares measurement)
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup light cream or evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler.
2. Put powdered sugar in mixing bowl. Add chocolate/butter mixture, vanilla, and salt.
3. Beat mixture on low. Lumps will form.
4. Slowly add cream while beating on medium.
5. When about half of the cream has been added, beat well, scraping the sides and bottom.
6. Slowly add rest of cream, adjusting as necessary for desired thickness.
