1 bag caramels (14oz or 50 pieces)
2/3 c sweetened condensed milk, divided
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c butter, melted
1 c chopped peanuts
1 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In microwave melt caramels with 1/3 c condensed milk - set aside and keep warm
In large bowl combine cake mix, butter, peanuts and remaining 1/3 c condensed milk - mix well until crumbly
Press half of the dough evenly onto greased and floured 9x13 pan
Bake 350º for 6min

Remove from oven and cool slightly
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over baked dough; spread melted caramel mixture on top working quickly with a spatula
Dribble remaining dough over caramels
Press slightly with a spoon

Bake at 350º for 14 - 18min until the top is set and mixture pulls from sides of the pan
Cool on rack 30min
Refrigerate until firm
