3 c. sugar
¾ c. water
½ c. white corn syrup
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. vanilla
¼ c. eggs whites (about 2 eggs)
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites, vanilla, and salt until they form stiff peaks. Combine sugar, water and white corn syrup. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook to hard ball stage (252°). Pour hot syrup in thin stream into egg whites, beating until candy loses gloss and holds shape. Fold in nuts. Spoon onto parchment paper on cookie sheets, let cool.
