3 lbs (about 16) apples
3 c water
7 c sugar
1 box powdered fruit pectin
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, quarter and core apples. Add water and cook until tender. Put through a course sieve. Add powdered pectin and spices. Heat to boiling and stir in sugar. Bring to a full rolling boil. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim top and pour into hot sterile jars. Water bath in boiling water for 10 minutes.
