1 1/2 c. raw rhubarb, cut fine
1/1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cl buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar, slightly beaten egg and salt. Stir in buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla and flour. Add rhubarb and beat well.

Pour into a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with: 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, and 1 tsp. nutmeg.

Bake at 375 for about 35 minutes.
