2 c. scalded milk
2 pkgs. of yeast
½ c. warm water
½ c. sugar
6 tbsp. shortening or margarine
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
6½ c. flour, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, sugar, shortening, salt, and eggs. Mix well. Add flour until consistency is springy and easy to knead, knead for 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl. Let rise in a warm place. Punch down and form into 40 balls, 20 per jelly roll pan. Let rise again (alternatively, place in fridge and let rise overnight). Bake 20 min. Can be made into cinnamon rolls.
