Ingredients:  
7 lb. Cucumber thinly sliced
1 sm. box Alum
1 qt. Lime (Lilly or plain)
Box Pickling Spice
2 qt. Vinegar
6 lb. Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Soak cukes 12-14 hours in lime water, drain and wash.
Soak drained cukes 4 hours in salt water.
Soak in clear water 1 hour and drain.
Bring to boil in alum water.
Drain and wash in hot water and drain.
Simer cukes 30 minutes in Vinegar, Sugar and spices.
Let stand until cold.
